Changing Colors

It is Autumn here. The best kind of Autumn, complete with red and orange leaves and a brilliant blue sky.  We cycle to school in sweaters with a crisp breeze on our faces.  By afternoon, when we cycle home, the sweaters and jackets sit in a pile in the bike.  People are out, everywhere, soaking in some warmth before the cold days arrive. That is what we have been doing with our days.  The inside chores of a new home can wait.  This week we will be outside, enjoying Copenhagen.  I wish someone was visiting.  They’d be in for a real treat.

Below, Dahlia is wearing a dress that came off my knitting needles just in time for the perfect season to wear it.

  1. You made that dress??? Honestly, Mandy, before I read your comments, I looked at the photos & said to myself “That dress is darling!!” Then I read your note about “coming off the needles.” I am so impressed. Beautiful images, these are lovely days to be alive and discovering a new life.
