An Italian Wedding

The reason we were in Italy in May, was to celebrate my little brother’s wedding. I wonder how they came up with the (brilliant) idea to get married in one of the most romantic countries in the world? ;)

Yes, like Brett and I, he and his beautiful bride likely experienced the occasional puzzled look and onslaught of questions, once someone realized that neither side of the family has any connection to Italy. But what we lack in affiliation we make up for in adoration. A passion for travel; for charming, unique places; and for the desire to do things a little…differently. We also happen to really like gelato…and Italian wine is good too. Seriously, what’s not to love about Italy?

Sometimes, straying from the norm really pays off. So without further ado…I present to you, one of the best weddings I have ever had the pleasure of attending.

Congratulations to a wonderful couple! And thank you! Thank you for getting married in a beautiful place, where we could all come together and make more magical Italian memories.
